High School Program

  • Who?

    High School Students Grades 7-12

    Coaches: To be determined for 2025 season

  • Where?

    Kenora Rowing Club Boathouse at Garrow Park, 110 Birchwood Drive

  • What?

    A 6-week long High School Rowing program to introduce high school students to the sport of rowing.

    - Learn proper rowing technique, how to work as a team in a boat

    - Develop cardiovascular fitness, provide a positive team dynamic for the students and community

    - Explore competitive rowing options and lifestyle

  • When?

    Information Session with coaches: Open House Info Session to be offered in early May, date TBD

    Practice dates to be determined for 2025 based on coaching availability, generally run 3 days per week from 6 am – 7:00 am

  • Price?

    $150 per student

How to Register

Sign up online following these steps:

  1. Click this link to the Rowing Canada membership page, where you will have to create an account (make sure you select Manitoba as your province)

  2. Then register for your program of choice. The options should come up automatically, but you can also register for the programs through this link

  3. Send an email to rowkenora@gmail.com saying that you have signed up and ask about scheduled practices to join, or with any other questions about the upcoming season!
